HELP ON PHOTO ALBUMS - Chakra Srivatsa (chakranjali@yahoo.com)

1) Click on "Photos" from the Troop home page.
2) Click on - "Gallery maintenance and upload new photos"

Enter username and password.
3) Click on "Manage Albums and Pictures"


=============================  Create an album:  ==========================================
NOTE: Our troop albums are organized by year.  Each year gets a new folder.  Create
a new folder for the year if you need to.  Every event gets a new folder under
the year.

1) Click on the year you want to add the album to (click on the picture).

2) Enter the Album name next to the "add directory" button.
   It's useful to include the month and year in the album name - for example:
   Feb_2007_Court_Of_Honor
   IMPORTANT: USE ONLY letters A-Z, numbers and underscore to avoid problems
   with non-computer friendly characters.
   Then click on add directory.

3) Click on the newly added album.  Add a brief description.  Click on "Save"
   at the bottom of the page.

4) Click on "upload pictures and files".

5) You will need to create a "zip" file of all the photos you wish to upload.
   You can use WinZip or other software to create this file.
   Click on "Browse" and select this file.
   Then click on "Upload files"

6) You should then choose an album cover.  Choose a representative picture and
   click on the "use as directory image" link next to it.

You can add/delete/move pictures and albums.
