You are about to embark on a great trip up Mt. Tamalpais-so what is in your pack?
You checked the troop website for the list and are fixing to pack-so what will you put in?
If you put in everything you could possibly need, it will take several donkeys to carry it.
If you don't put in what you need, you could suffer a little, or in the worst case, be seriously hurt
You must balance what you need, with the weight you can carry.
Small lantern vs a head-lamp
Large stove and pots vs smaller ones
Cans of food vs freeze dried food.
Err on the side of safety first (your 10 essentials!) then comfort
Your life and your buddies life may depend on it.
