Thinking is Hard Work
March 6, 2007
Larry Polyak, Scoutmaster
Tonight on our PLC night, I have a short quote which I thought was appropriate. It is from Henry Ford. Henry Ford was the founder of the Ford Motor Company in the early 1900's. He did not invent the automobile, although he invented a good number of other things and was awarded 161 US patents. He introduced the assembly line to automobile manufacturing and was responsible for making automobiles affordable for the average worker. Before his time, automobiles were a luxury that only the rich could afford. His legacy is extremely enduring and his name "Ford" is of course prominent on millions of cars all over the world.
Henry Ford once said: " Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it."
Thanks for listening.
